STEP 1: Choose and purchase a delicious vegetable dish
During this period, in order to allow people to enjoy seasonal vegetables from Niseko Town in various ways, the Niseko View Plaza Direct Sales Association and local food and beverage businesses will work together to develop and sell new menu items (commonly known as veggie pic menus) using vegetables from Niseko Town.

Power-up point (1) Increase in number of stores
Last year, the number of participating stores was 8, but this year it is expected to increase significantly to 13 stores (as of July 1st).

Power-up point (2) Expansion of the veggie pic menu
Last year, the VeggiePic menu only consisted of one-handed foods such as sandwiches, but this year it will be more diverse, including food, drinks, soups, and desserts, so that people can enjoy vegetables in various ways.

Power-up point (3) Extension of period
Last year, the event lasted for just over a month from August 24th to September 30th, but to allow customers to enjoy autumn vegetables, it will now be held until October 31st (Friday). In addition, we will offer a summer menu from August 22nd (Friday) to September 21st (Sunday), and an autumn menu from September 22nd (Monday) to October 31st (Friday).

STEP 2: Relax and enjoy a meal while taking in the spectacular view
In order to allow people to enjoy a veggie picnic menu while taking in the spectacular views, a terrace made from wood harvested in the forests of the Shiribeshi region (commonly known as the Spectacular View Terrace) will be set up in a location in Niseko Town with a beautiful view.

Power-up point (4) New construction of a wooden chainsaw art bench
In addition to the four wooden terraces from last year, wooden benches made with chainsaw art will be installed in four new scenic spots, bringing the total number of scenic spots to eight, each with a terrace or bench.

STEP 3: Get delicious vegetables at a great price
All customers who purchase a VegiPic menu will receive a discount coupon that can be used at the Niseko View Plaza Direct Sales Event, where the vegetables on the VegiPic menu are sold. If you eat the VegiPic menu and find the vegetables delicious, you can purchase them at a discount at the Niseko View Plaza Direct Sales Event.

+α: A portion of sales will be donated to environmental conservation activities

A portion of the store's sales from the veggie pic menu will be donated to the NIS-ECO PROJECT, an activity to protect Niseko Town 's nature, and will be used to protect the landscape of Niseko Town, which is the core of the experiential value of this initiative.

※2:昨年のベジピク体験者へのアンケート結果
More than 90% of people who tried VegiPic were satisfied.
Also, before visiting Niseko and experiencing VegePic, the image of Niseko was dominated by "wealthy people" and "high prices" in winter. After visiting Niseko and experiencing VegePic, many people noticed new charms of Niseko, such as summer "vegetables" and "scenery" as well as positive restaurants.

■ Background of this initiative
Niseko Town Yotei to the east, Niseko Annupuri to the north, and Mt. Kombu to the south. It has a rich natural environment with countless streams, including the clear Shiribetsu River, and beautiful scenery, including rural landscapes. Niseko Town has been working to protect this beautiful landscape by enforcing Niseko Town Landscape Ordinance since October 2004. In addition, Niseko Town agriculture is a key industry in the area, thanks to the cold temperatures and abundant water produced by the foothills of Hokkaido's most prominent mountains, and the ingenuity of farmers who continue to work in mountainous areas that are not necessarily suited for agriculture. Niseko Town We are implementing this policy in order to allow more people to enjoy the two unique features of Hokkaido: its spectacular scenery and its exquisite vegetables.
