Reservations for tax returns are now closed

The city hall will be accepting tax return filings by appointment until Friday, March 14th.
However, the last day's reception slots have already been booked, and it has become difficult to accept any more declarations at the town hall.The town hall will no longer be accepting tax returns for this year.

If any of the following apply to you, please contact us by phone.
Reservations are closed, but we will positively consider assisting you with your declaration.
- Over the past year, you had a large income compared to normal years (e.g. from buying and selling real estate).
- Received a disability certificate or other document within the last year.
・In addition, something new happened in the past year, and my annual income and expenses changed significantly.

(Excluding large fluctuations in medical expenses alone).

If you wish to file your tax return during the tax return filing period (until March 17th), you can either file at home using e-TAX or at the Kutchan Tax Office.
*If you are filing a tax return at the tax office, you will need to obtain an "admission ticket" in advance.
"Admission tickets" can be issued in advance via the National Tax Agency's official LINE account, or distributed on the day at the venue.

 

There is no need to rush this tax return (it's okay to file after March 17th)

The deadline for filing this year's tax return is Monday, March 17th, but this is only the deadline if tax is owed.
If you are already paying income tax from your salary or pension, and are filing for the purpose of reducing your tax by declaring the following deductions (called a "refund return"), it is okay to file after March 17th.

Also, if you are filing for the purpose of receiving a refund, we recommend that you consider filing yourself using your smartphone or computer due to the ease of the procedure and the speed of the refund.
