Demonstration experiment underway at Niseko Station! Tourist guidance by AI tourist avatar

Starting Saturday, February 8, 2025, Niseko Resort Tourism Association Co., Ltd. (Niseko Town, Hokkaido; hereinafter referred to as "Niseko Resort Tourism Association"), Hitachi, Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Hitachi"), and Time Looper LLC (hereinafter referred to as "Time Looper") have jointly begun a demonstration project to provide tourist information using an AI tourist avatar at the Tourist Information Center at JR Niseko Station.


In this demonstration, the Niseko Resort Tourism Association will be in charge of on-site operations, while Hitachi, which develops VR utilization services and AI itinerary proposal services, will provide the technology. Timelooper will be commissioned by Hitachi to provide AI tourist avatar solutions, aiming to improve the efficiency and convenience of tourist guidance.
