This joint company information session will be held in Tokyo for students and general job seekers hoping to move to Hokkaido for work. Many companies that are putting effort into creating a comfortable working environment, such as companies with excellent employment management for young people, companies that are proactive in supporting the balance between work and childcare, and companies that are working to promote the active participation of women, are expected to participate.

【background】
In recent years, interest in living in rural areas has increased, and Hokkaido, with its rich natural environment and ease of living, is attracting attention as a destination for relocation and employment. This trend is also reflected in statistics, and according to Hokkaido's Labor Force Survey (2023), the labor force in the prefecture is 2.71 million, an increase of 20,000 from the previous year, and the number of employed people is 2.64 million, an increase of 40,000.
In particular, there is growing interest among people living in the Tokyo metropolitan area who are looking to achieve a work-life balance and have a good environment for raising children. In addition, companies in Hokkaido are actively expanding into new industrial fields in addition to core industries such as food and tourism, creating a wide variety of employment opportunities.
This project will promote matching between talent from the Tokyo metropolitan area and companies in Hokkaido through a joint company information session by 30 leading companies in Hokkaido. We will actively promote the appeal of Hokkaido companies and the characteristics of the region to those looking to return to Hokkaido for work, and contribute to the sustainable development of the Hokkaido economy and job creation.

[Event Summary]
Thirty companies from Hokkaido will participate in this event, and it will be held in a format where no resume is required, dress code is casual, and entry and exit is free. In addition to the participation of excellent companies such as Youth Yell, Kurumin, and Eruboshi certified companies, there will also be consultation booths by Hello Work, the Sapporo U-Turn Employment Center, and Job Cafe Hokkaido, as well as a relocation support corner.
