Training publicity from Niseko Town
The Hokkaido Nuclear Emergency Preparedness Comprehensive Training is currently being conducted, and Niseko Town is also participating in the training.
Niseko Town is located approximately 30 kilometers from the Tomari Nuclear Power Plant and is designated as an emergency protection zone (UPZ) in the event of a nuclear disaster. In the event of a nuclear disaster, the town office will instruct people to take shelter indoors or temporarily relocate depending on the changing situation, so please follow the instructions when they are given. In addition, please remain calm and not act on rumors or speculation in the event of a disaster.
Detailed information in the event of a disaster will be provided on FM radio station Radio Niseko, the Niseko Town website, social media, etc.
We ask for your understanding and cooperation in nuclear disaster prevention.
After this, at around 9:45am, the town hall will interrupt Radio Niseko with a training broadcast.
