The 227th Town Planning Citizen Lecture "Protecting the Landscape of Niseko Town" will be held

In recent years, large-scale and complex developments have been increasing in Niseko Town, and it has become difficult to respond to these projects with the current ordinances and regulations alone. Therefore, in April of this year, we established architectural guidelines that set out the goals, policies, and standards for landscape formation and summarized the points to consider.
As a next step, we plan to provide a forum for dialogue between developers and residents at the basic concept stage of development, and to revise Landscape Ordinance so that consideration is given to the landscape and snow disposal stipulated in the architectural guidelines.
This time, we have invited Professor Yoshinobu Kitamura from Sophia University to talk about the characteristics, challenges, and future direction of Niseko Town 's Landscape Ordinance, and together with the participants, we will think about what can be done to protect the landscape of Niseko Town.
