Niseko Town Decarbonization and Renewable Energy Promotion Project Subsidy Applications Now Being Accepted
Notice
Our town was selected by the Ministry of the Environment to participate in the "Focused Measures Acceleration Project" in fiscal year 2024. This project provides subsidies for the introduction of renewable energy and energy-saving equipment to town residents and businesses, promoting efforts toward decarbonization and climate change measures.
Using this subsidy, Niseko Town has established a subsidy system for the introduction of solar power generation equipment and energy-saving equipment for town residents and business operators operating within the town.
The introduction of renewable energy and energy-saving measures will not only reduce CO2 emissions but also help solve household issues such as the strain on household finances caused by rising energy prices and the problem of securing power in the event of a disaster. We hope that this subsidy system will encourage people who have been unable to introduce these measures due to financial constraints to reconsider their introduction.
Please refer to the Subsidy Program page for information on subsidy recipients and subsidy rates, etc.
