About the Japan Tourism Agency's "Project to Address Labor Shortages in Tourist Destinations and the Tourism Industry"

The Japan Tourism Agency is conducting a second round of calls for proposals for a project to support capital investment and other measures to alleviate the labor shortage in the hospitality industry, in order to address the labor shortage in tourist destinations and the tourism industry.

* Registration as a high-value-added hotel, etc. is required.

Maximum subsidy amount: 5 million yen per facility
Subsidy rate: 1/2
* Maximum of 3 facilities per business
