National Route 5 Rankoshi-Kutchan Road (Niseko-Kutchan) Road Plan Briefing Session

The Otaru Development and Construction Department of the Hokkaido Regional Development Bureau is planning a project to develop a highway between Motomachi, Niseko Niseko Town and Asahi, Kutchan Town, which will contribute to improving safety and promoting tourism, and serve as an alternative route in the event of a disaster such as an eruption of Mt. Usu.
In order to gain your understanding and cooperation with on-site surveys (topographical surveys, geological surveys, etc.), the town and the Otaru Development and Construction Department will hold a road planning briefing regarding the purpose, progress, and plans of the project.
Date and time: Friday, July 12th, 18:00- (scheduled for about an hour)
