Important Notice

Purpose

This benefit is intended for low-income two-parent households in the face of soaring food prices and deteriorating household finances. This is a special allowance for household life support.

Persons eligible for payment

Parents, etc. raising a child under the age of 18 (under the age of 20 for children with disabilities) (as of March 31 2023 *However, this also applies to newborns born by February 2024)

Payment requirements

・Those who are exempt from resident tax (per capita) for 2022
・Those whose income has suddenly changed since January 1 2023, and whose income is now equivalent to that of exemption from resident tax (those who have experienced a sudden change in household income)

Payment amount

50,000 yen per target child
* Those who have already received benefits for single-parent households,
Those who are receiving the benefit from other local governments are not eligible.

Application procedure

1.FY 2022Those who receive special benefits for child-rearing households living support (for other households) for low-income child-rearing households
→ No procedures are required. It will be transferred to the account you received last year.
