juminhyo (certificate of residence) and seal registration certificate can now be obtained at convenience stores

From March 20, 2023, convenience stores nationwide that have multi-function copiers have installed multi-function copiers 2023 can now obtain certificates, etc. using their My Number cards.

■Certificates that can be obtained
・ juminhyo (certificate of residence)
・Seal registration certificate (if you have already registered your seal)
■ Available time
・From 6:30 to 23:00 all day
(You can get it regardless of the day of the week, such as Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.)
■ What you need
・My number card
・The 4-digit PIN set on your My Number Card
Note: If you make a mistake three times in a row, you will be locked out. To unlock, you need to go through the procedures at the Resident Section of the town hall.
・Commission (cash or cashless payment)
juminhyo (certificate of residence): 200 yen per case *300 yen per case after April 1, 2023
Seal registration certificate: 300 yen per case
■ Notes
A seal registration card (card) is still required to receive a seal registration certificate at the Resident Section window of the government office.
You can select items to be written on juminhyo (certificate of residence), but refunds or exchanges are not possible even if you select the wrong items.
