In addition, the road station "Niseko View Plaza" is positioned as a "designated emergency evacuation site" in the "Niseko Town Regional Disaster Prevention Plan" created by the Niseko Town Disaster Prevention Council based on the provisions of Article 42 of the Disaster Countermeasures Basic Law. In 2020, in Hokkaido's "Hokkaido Disaster Support and Assistance Manual", it was selected as a "Michi-no-Eki that can serve as a base for recovery and reconstruction activities in addition to transporting and accumulating relief supplies" due to its location characteristics.
