"2022 Geothermal Resource Survey Briefing and the 2nd Niseko-Ranboshi Geothermal Resource Utilization Council"

With the start of the geothermal resource development survey in the Niseko Mountains, Niseko Town and Rankoshi Town have set up a council consisting of hot spring operators, environment / energy / tourism-related organizations, experts, etc. We are engaged in study sessions and case studies.

This time, we will explain the results of the 2022 geothermal resource development survey, future plans, and the status of efforts regarding tree felling and other issues, and we hope to receive a wide range of opinions and comments from everyone.

It is expected that efforts aimed at geothermal power generation will continue in the future, so I hope that this will be an opportunity for everyone to think about the utilization of geothermal resources.

It is possible to observe the meeting regardless of the municipality in which you live, and no prior application is required.
