The Special Measures Act for Promoting Self-Reliance in Depopulated Areas expired on March 31 2021, and a new Special Measures Act for Supporting the Sustainable Development of Depopulated Areas was enacted, establishing rules for financial measures associated with exemptions from fixed asset tax.
In response to this, the property tax is exempted for 3 years from the manufacturing industry, agriculture, forestry and fishery products sales industry, inn industry, information service industry, etc. that have acquired business assets that meet certain requirements, and the local economy is exempted based on the application. We will enact ordinances to revitalize the economy.
