[Public Comment] Regarding the public inspection of the ordinance (draft) to abolish Niseko Town Gateball Field Installation Ordinance

Niseko Town Gateball Field, located next to Niseko Town Center, has been used mainly by the town gateball association since it was established in 1986, but in recent years the facility has not been used due to a decrease in the number of players. The gateball section of the town-sponsored Athletic Park Opening Sports Tournament has not been held since 2016 due to a lack of participants, and since the gateball field is not expected to be used in the future, the facility will be closed. In addition, we are considering using the site as a parking lot.
Although lines for gateball have been drawn in the arena of the general gymnasium, since there will be no place to play gateball outdoors in the town, we will publish a proposal based on the provisions of Article 54 Niseko Town Basic Ordinance for Town Development and widely solicit opinions.
