We are looking for members of Niseko Town Designated Manager Selection Committee

In order to hear your opinions on the screening and selection of the designated manager who will manage the public facilities established by the town, we are now recruiting one member for Niseko Town Designated Manager Selection Committee. This selection committee is composed of up to eight members.
What is a "designated manager"? The system in which private businesses, NPOs, volunteer groups, etc. manage public facilities such as cultural facilities and social welfare facilities is called the "designated manager system," and the organizations that manage facilities under this system are called "designated managers."
-Details of work: Through examination of the contents of the business plan submitted by the organization that intends to become the designated manager and explanations from the organization, you will be asked to discuss whether or not the organization is suitable for becoming the designated manager.
Eligibility: Applicants must be 18 years of age or older, have lived in Niseko Town for at least one year, and be able to attend committee meetings held on weekdays. However, full-time public servants and council members are excluded.
・Number of applicants: 1
Term: From the date of appointment until November 17, 2027 (approximately three years)
・How to apply: Fill out the "Niseko Town Designated Manager Selection Committee Member Application Form" that can be downloaded from the link below and submit it to the General Affairs Division of the Town Hall by mail or in person by the deadline.
We will inform you of the results regardless of whether you pass or fail.
Application deadline: Tuesday, December 17, 2024 (postmark deadline for mail applications)
・ Reward: No reward
・Holding meetings: Meetings will be held as necessary.
The next event will be held on Tuesday, January 14, 2025 from 14:00 to 15:00 at Niseko Town Hall Multipurpose Hall.
We are planning to hold another meeting in February.
・ Others: If it is recognized that there is an interest in a specific facility, such as when you are an officer of a corporation that has applied for a designated manager, even if you become a member, you will participate in the proceedings of that facility. Please note that you may not be able to do so.
