3. Eligibility to take the exam Applicants must be graduates of high school under the School Education Act or be expected to graduate by the end of March 2025, and must have been born on or after April 2, 2000. In addition, applicants must meet the following requirements.

(1) People who can live in the urban area of the town or village where they work
(2) Those who have a regular driver's license (manual vehicle) or will obtain one within the next year
(3) Those who are physically and mentally healthy, have normal limb functions, and are able to perform their duties without any problems
(4) Those who have Japanese nationality and do not fall under the disqualification provisions of Article 16 of the Local Public Service Personnel Law

4. Application Deadline: Monday, August 19, 2024
The application form can be obtained from the General Affairs Division of the Fire Department, Kutchan Fire Station, each branch office, or downloaded from the Mt. Yotei Fire Association website.

5. First exam date: Saturday, September 7, 2024, from 1:30 p.m.
Second exam date: Tuesday, October 1, 2024, from 1:30 p.m. *Only for those who passed the first exam
