Awards ceremony

The event will be held at Arishima Takeo Memorial Museum from 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 3, 2024 (national holiday).
At the award ceremony, a representative of the jury will explain the winning and selected works.

The award ceremony will be streamed on the official YouTube channel Niseko Town Hokkaido.


Takeshi Arishima was a representative of the Shirakaba school, and formed art loyalty association "Kuroyuri-kai" in Sapporo during the Meiji Period, and as a pioneer of modern painting in Hokkaido, it had a great influence on the backward movement.
The purpose of this project is to provide a place for creative presentation widely to young people who have innate creativity and to inherit the intention of Arima's art promotion.
The winning works will be exhibited in the special exhibition room Arishima Takeo Memorial Museum.

Admission fee

During the exhibition period, accompanying persons of applicants to the 36th Youth Open Art Exhibition will be admitted free of charge.
Please apply at the reception desk.

Group discount (10 people or more) 400 yen
Free for Niseko Town aged 65 and over and high school students and younger

Annual passport/Adults 800 yen (valid for one year)
