About the COVID-19 vaccine booster shot (3rd dose)
About the booster shot delivery strategy
In Niseko Town, the third dose of the COVID-19 vaccination is scheduled to begin in January 2022.
Those who can inoculate are those who have been inoculated up to the second inoculation and are 12 years old or older who have passed a certain period (at least 6 months) from the second inoculation.
The vaccination voucher and schedule will be sent out to eligible individuals after they have been grouped according to the date of their 2nd dose.
1 Eligible individuals and prospective vaccination dates
◎ Medical staff: Niseko clinic, dental clinic, medical staff at dispensing pharmacies, firefighters
◎ Facility inoculation: Residents / employees of Niseko Heights, group home Kirari (inoculation place is each facility)
◎ Group A: Those aged 65 and over who received the second dose in June and July of 2021

Establishment of Hokkaido Vaccination Center
Taking into account the current infection situation and the implementation of the Semi-state of emergency COVID-19 measures, many municipalities started accelerating full-scale additional vaccination for the elderly and etc. from February.
