Vaccinations

In Niseko Town, the following vaccinations will be provided.

Routine Childhood Immunizations (Individual Vaccinations)

  • These are conducted every Wednesday at Niseko Clinic. Please make a reservation at least one week before the desired date for inoculation.
  • If you cancel your reservation or choose not to receive the vaccination on the day, please contact us.

From April 1, 2024, the 13-valent vaccine will be replaced with the 15-valent vaccine. The vaccination schedule and intervals will remain the same.
Hepatitis B Vaccine2 months to under 1 year
Five-in-One Combination VaccineFirst dose: 2 months to under 7 months (up to 7 years 6 months old)
Additional dose: 12 to 18 months after the first dose (up to 7 years 6 months old)
BCG5-8 months (under 1 year old)
Measles-Rubella (MR) VaccineFirst dose: 1 to 2 years old Second dose: Older children
Chickenpox VaccineFirst dose: 12 to 15 months (1 to 3 years old)
Additional dose: 6 to 12 months after the first dose (1 to 3 years old)
HPV (Cervical Cancer Prevention)Eligible: Girls in their first year of junior high school (equivalent to 6th grade to 1st year high school age)

Japanese EncephalitisFirst dose: 3 to under 5 years old (6 months to 7 years 6 months old)
Second dose: 9 to under 13 years old
Rotavirus VaccineRotarix (2 doses): 6 to 24 weeks (first dose administered by 14 weeks and 6 days old)
Rotatec (3 doses): 6 to 36 weeks (first dose administered by 14 weeks and 6 days old)

Voluntary Vaccinations for Children

We provide financial assistance for voluntary vaccinations for children.
