Health examination and consultation

Various health examinations are conducted by the town. The self-pay ratio for the examinations is usually 30%, but is 10% for people aged 70 years or older. Health consultations with health nurses, blood-pressure measurement and urine testing are provided in the healthcare room of the Town Council and the Nishitomi Citizens' Hall. Please contact the relevant bodies for usage of the Health examination system.

Specific health checkups for the following illnesses are available: lung cancer screening, stomach cancer screening, colon cancer screening, stomach cancer screening, colon cancer screening, hepatitis C screening, prostate cancer screening, breast cancer screening, and uterine cancer screening.
