Disaster

If a sudden disaster such as an earthquake occurs, administrative agencies do everything to address the disaster. However, voluntary disaster-prevention activities and mutual cooperation in the community and neighbourhood are also important. If an earthquake, fire, flood or snow disaster occurs, obtain accurate information from TV or radio (Niseko Community FM) and prepare for emergency action.　See the map on pages 25 and 26 for evacuation areas in case of disaster.
