Mayor's room

　ニセコ町では、町長は、就任時に、ニセコ町まちづくり基本条例第26条第1項の規定に基づき、町議会の席上において宣誓を行っています。
　令和7年第8回臨時議会における宣誓内容を紹介します。


Declaration

I am deeply aware that I am the mayor in trust for the people of the town, and based on the principles of local autonomy guaranteed in the Constitution of Japan and the principles of "information sharing" and "citizen participation" set forth in Niseko Town Basic Ordinance for Town Development, I will strive to build a form of self-government that is in tune with the times, even under the rapidly changing social climate.
　町政の代表者として、公正かつ誠実に職務を遂行し、現場の声に耳を傾け、共に考え、共に進む姿勢を貫きながら、変化を恐れず挑戦を続け、町民が誇りを持てるニセコ町の現実に全力を尽くすことを誓います。
