ニセコ町では、町長は、就任時に、ニセコ町まちづくり基本条例第26条第1項の規定に基づき、町議会の席上において宣誓を行っています。
令和7年第8回臨時議会における宣誓内容を紹介します。
Declaration
I will comply with the Constitution of Japan, firmly defend "basic human rights", and strive to secure "right to life" and "public welfare" for the sovereign townspeople.
In addition, based on the spirit of "resident autonomy" as stipulated in the "Niseko Town Basic Ordinance for Town Development," I pledge to carry out my duties sincerely, valuing "fairness, public interest, and consideration," without postponing the many issues that have piled up, in order to realize Niseko Town all residents can live with hope and peace of mind.
