Self-introduction

Hello!
Willopaspito Shahira Margaret. Since my full name is long, my nickname is Shah. I'm from a city called Melbourne in the South East of Australia. Born and raised in Australia, but half Indonesian.

I started studying Japanese at the age of 12, fell in love with Japanese culture and language, and decided to continue studying Japanese at university. At university, I became interested in translation/interpretation and international exchange, and after graduating I decided to apply for the JET Programme's CIR. Niseko Town is a global and beautiful town, so I think it will be a rich experience.

Where I'm From:

My hometown is Melbourne, Victoria. It is Australia's second largest city after Sydney. Melbourne is one of the most culturally diverse cities in the world. Immigrants from countries such as Greece, Italy, Lebanon, Vietnam and China have created large communities and a wide variety of cuisines are available wherever you go. And Melbourne is famous for its coffee culture. Rather than going to big chain stores like Starbucks, I often enjoy specialty coffees at small local cafes.

Winters in Australia are cold, but if you don't go to the mountains, you won't see snow all your life. Australia is best known for its summer and is known for its beautiful seascapes. If you're tired of the winter weather, why not take a look at Australia's summer from December to February?
