Accommodation Tax Ordinance Revised
Important Notice
The system is scheduled to be revised from November 1, 2026.
On December 18, 2025, Niseko Town passed a bill amending the Accommodation Tax Ordinance.
The main content of this amendment is to change the system for levying accommodation tax from the current tiered flat rate system to a flat rate system.
These amendments will be implemented only after obtaining the consent of the Minister of Internal Affairs and Communications, but our town will continue to take various measures with the aim of implementing the amendments from November 1, 2026.
