About inspection of Niseko Town forest maintenance plan (draft)

Jobs & Volunteering

The forest maintenance plan is a 10-year period that is prepared by the municipality where the private forest subject to the regional forest plan is located every five years, and establishes guidelines for forest management such as logging, afforestation, and thinning carried out by forest owners. Niseko Town has established the "Niseko Town Forest Development Plan" based on the "Goshi-Iburi Regional Forest Plan" established by Hokkaido, but since the "Goshi-Iburi Regional Forest Plan" for the first period of 2023 April 1, 2023 was newly established, we have decided to establish the "Niseko Town Forest Development Plan" starting on the same day based on the contents of the Hokkaido plan.
