Significantly reduce the time and effort of "writing" in the procedure for moving in
From March 1st, the town will introduce the first new system in Hokkaido to shorten and simplify the transfer procedure from home and abroad as part of measures to prevent infection with the new coronavirus.
When completing the procedures for moving, there are many other procedures to go through, not just the Juminhyo (Resident Certificate) procedure, but also seal registration, national health insurance enrollment procedure, and procedures related to children's medical expenses, etc., and each time you have to fill out an application form, you tend to spend a long time at the city hall.
With the introduction of the new system, not only the transfer notification but also the contents to be filled in directly on the main documents can be greatly reduced, and the transfer procedure time will be shortened. From May, we plan to increase the number of operating units in the new government building to two and work to improve the functions of the counter.
〇Overview of the new system "transfer reception support system"
Until now, when you completed the procedure for moving in, you had to fill in many items such as your name, address, and date of birth in the notification of resident transfer, and you had to wait at the counter until the procedure was completed.
With the introduction of this system, when a move-in notification is submitted, OCR that mechanically converts characters such as the name, previous address, and date of birth on the move-out certificate issued by the local government of the previous address into character data. The Niseko Town creates a notification form on the personal computer for the procedure, displays the completed document on the tablet for confirmation, and obtains a signature. (Reference attached figure)
It can also create application forms for a copy of a new Juminhyo (Resident Certificate) when submitting a change of address notification, as well as application documents for national health insurance, eliminating the need to write multiple documents and enabling necessary procedures to be completed in a shorter amount of time.
In terms of business, the purpose is to reduce the use of paper resources and improve searchability by storing evidence documents that were previously copied and saved as electronic data.
