About correspondence when plants not ordered from overseas are mailed

Notice

Although it has not been confirmed in the town, recently it seems that there are cases where plants that have not been ordered are mailed from overseas nationwide.
According to the Plant Protection Law, plants sent from overseas are subject to import inspection for the presence or absence of pests, and if they pass, they are stamped with a pass mark, and if they fail, they are discarded or returned. The disposal will be done.
If you receive a plant that has not been imported (inspection stamped), please contact the Plant Quarantine Station as it is.
In addition, even if you receive seeds that you do not know, do not plant them in planters. If the seeds are in a plastic bag, please do not open the plastic bag.
For details, please check the Plant Quarantine website.
