We hold briefing session about geothermal resources investigation

Following the start of the geothermal resource development survey in the Niseko Mountains, Niseko Town and Rankoshi-cho have set up a council consisting of hot spring operators, environmental, energy and tourism-related organizations, and experts, and have been studying geothermal since last fiscal year. We are working on meetings and case studies.
 
At the conference held last May and January of this year, we received explanations about the situation such as tree felling that occurred in the survey project advanced by the business and the advice from the experts, and will be fully aware of environmental protection in the future. It was confirmed about the operator proceeding with the geothermal resource survey, etc. after caution.
 
Therefore we hold briefing session to meeting about the contents of future investigations.
It is possible to participate regardless of the local government where you live, and participation application is unnecessary.
