Regarding a malfunction in the disaster prevention radio (June 17, 2026)

Since the completion of the disaster prevention radio automatic activation drill conducted around 10:00 AM today, we have received reports of malfunctions in the disaster prevention radios. If the power cannot be turned off, please take the following steps.
1. Unplug the adapter and remove the batteries from the radio.
2. Reinsert the batteries and connect the adapter.
If the power does not turn off even after performing steps 1 and 2, the disaster prevention radio may be malfunctioning. We will replace the unit, so please bring it to the Planning & Environment Division of the town hall.
