About influenza epidemics
Important Notice
An influenza warning has been issued within the Kutchan Public Health Center jurisdiction. As the epidemic may further spread, we ask that you take measures to prevent infection.
The main symptoms of influenza are a fever of 38°C or higher, headache, joint pain, muscle pain, and other general symptoms.
In rare cases, children may develop acute encephalitis, while elderly people and those with weakened immune systems may develop severe symptoms such as pneumonia.
To prevent influenza infection
- When going out, avoid crowds and wear a mask.
- After going out, gargle and wash your hands.
- Live a regular life and get enough sleep.
- Eat three meals a day to maintain a balanced diet.
- Get vaccinated to prevent infection and to prevent the disease from becoming serious after it develops.
