Regarding the emergency hospital on-duty system for the year-end and New Year holidays

The emergency hospital on-duty system for the 2024 New Year holiday period is as follows:
■Medical date/time/December 30th (Monday) to January 3rd (Friday)
■Medical reception hours/9:00-17:00 (24 hours for emergencies)
■Medical institution/JA Hokkaido Koseiren Kutchan Kosei Hospital
*In addition to the normal daily duty system, the pediatric and orthopedic departments will be responding as follows.
・Pediatrics: Pediatric specialist doctors available (24 hours a day)
・Orthopedic surgery: Orthopedic specialist doctors available (24 hours a day)
・Other emergencies: Specialist doctors on call, 24 hours a day
*About the emergency duty hospital (request from the medical association)
"Emergency duty hospitals" that provide medical care at night, on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays are the reception desks for patients who require emergency treatment for sudden symptoms (such as severe headaches, stomach pains, chest pains, or injuries). If you have symptoms during the day or have minor symptoms (such as a cold) that can be treated with first aid at home, you should visit your family doctor or other medical institution during normal business hours.
