Niseko Town Sixth Industry and Agricultural Product Sales Promotion Council Preparatory Committee is organizing a picnic experience where participants can enjoy one-handed food made with delicious vegetables from Niseko Town at a scenic spot in the town."NISEKO Vegetable Picnic (commonly known as NISEKO Vegetable Picnic)http://niseko-vegipiku.jp” will be available from August 24th (Saturday) to September 30th (Monday).
During the period, Niseko Town 's vegetables will be enjoyed in various ways, and we will cooperate with the town's residents in this initiative.Eight food and beverage businesses will be serving one-hand meals such as sandwiches, burgers, and wraps made with plenty of Niseko Town vegetables (commonly known as the Veggie Pic Menu)We will develop and sell the following. In addition, in order to allow you to enjoy the veggie pic menu while looking at the magnificent view,Four terraces (known as "spectacular terraces") made from wood harvested in the forests of the Shiribeshi region have been built in Niseko Town, offering beautiful views.We will also introduce you to facilities that already exist in the town that offer beautiful views. Customers who purchase a VegePic menu will receive a gift from a store that sells the vegetables featured in the VegePic menu.Discount coupons that can be used at the Niseko View Plaza Direct Sales Eventwill be given to you at the store where you purchased the item.

■ Background of this initiative
Niseko Town Yotei to the east, Niseko Annupuri to the north, and Mt. Kombu to the south. It has a rich natural environment with countless streams, including the clear Shiribetsu River, and beautiful scenery, including rural landscapes. Niseko Town has been working to protect this beautiful landscape by enforcing Niseko Town Landscape Ordinance since October 2004. In addition, Niseko Town agriculture is a key industry in the area, thanks to the cold temperatures and abundant water produced by the foothills of Hokkaido's most prominent mountains, and the ingenuity of farmers who continue to work in mountainous areas that are not necessarily suited for agriculture.
