About the first decarbonization action plan resident briefing session

In July 2020 (2020), Niseko Town announced that it aims for net-zero CO2 emissions (decarbonization/zero carbon) by 2050.
Niseko Town Eco-Model City In line with the Second Action Plan, which expires in FY2023 (2023), we are now formulating a specific action plan for the 10 years from FY2024 to FY2033 (FY2024 to FY2033), called the [Niseko Town De-Carbon Action Plan].
Regarding this important plan, we would like to widely incorporate the opinions of town residents.
In this first installment, we will look back at the past and present history of CO2 emissions in Niseko Town, and present a draft plan to set intermediate goals (2030) and long-term goals (2050) for CO2 reduction. First of all, we would like to receive opinions from a wide range of townspeople regarding the proposed goals and identification of local issues.
