Announcement of Hokkaido Shinkansen construction briefing session in Arishima area, Niseko Town
Important Notice
As part of the Hokkaido Shinkansen construction work, construction on the Yotei Tunnel (Arishima) and other works began in May 2020, and geological surveys have been conducted to ensure smooth construction. As a result of the geological survey, we have identified a rock mass that will interfere with tunnel construction near Arishima Small Park (a park with toilets near National Route 5) in the Arishima district of Niseko Town, and we are planning to remove the rock mass from above ground. Therefore, we would like to inform you that a construction briefing will be held as detailed below prior to the start of construction.
