You can now obtain Resident Certificate and a seal registration certificate at a convenience store

As of March 20 2023 it has become possible to obtain certificates and other documents using My Number Card at convenience stores nationwide that have multi-function copiers installed.

■Certificates that can be obtained
・ Resident Certificate
・Seal registration certificate (if you have already registered your seal)
■ Availability
・All days, from 6.30 AM to 11:00 PM
(Available regardless of weekends, national holidays, or other days of the week.)
■ Required Items
・My Number Card
・The 4-digit PIN set for your My Number Card
Note: If entered incorrectly three consecutive times, the PIN will be locked. To unlock it, procedures must be completed at the Resident Affairs Division counter at the Town Hall.
・Commission (cash or cashless payment)
Resident Certificate: 200 yen per item *300 yen per item after April 1, 2023
Seal registration certificate: 300 yen per copy
■ Important Notice
To obtain a Seal Registration Certificate at the Resident Affairs Division counter of the Town Hall, the Seal Registration Card is still required.
You can select the items to be written on Resident Certificate, but if you select the wrong item, we will not be able to refund or exchange it.
