Honcho formulated the "Niseko Town Vacant House Countermeasure Plan" in 2017 (Heisei 29), and regarding various problems such as the management and utilization of vacant houses, which have been increasing in recent years, and the removal of abandoned houses, Shiribeshi Vacant House BANK, Niseko Real Estate Industry Association, etc. We have worked with relevant organizations to address this issue. Five years have passed since the formulation of the plan, and based on trends in the socioeconomic situation, we will verify the status and results of efforts to address vacant houses, etc., and preserve the safety of the region, the living environment, and the beautiful scenery. We will review the plan with the aim of promoting proper management and effective utilization of vacant houses in Honcho.
For that reason, we are looking for wider opinions about this plan (draft). Please send your opinion to the following (even if you have inquiries about uncertainties).

Please speak directly to the Urban Planning Section of Municipal Infrastructure Division (Shimada and Kanazawa) at counter 3 (blue) on the first floor of the town hall.
*If you are not present, please inform someone present at Municipal Infrastructure Division.
2. When you give us your opinion by fax or e-mail
