介绍
Hello, Guten Tag!
My name is Fabian. I am from Germany. I was born in the west of Germany and grew up in a town called Enniger.
When I was in high school, I never imagined that I would live in Japan someday. At that time, I was worried about what kind of job I wanted to do in the future. However, I wanted to experience a culture completely different from Europe, so I became interested in Japan.
After graduating from high school, I entered the University of Bochum and took Japanese classes while studying East Asian economics and politics. In 2022, I came to Japan for the first time as an international student and studied at Fukushima University for one year. Throughout that year, I was deeply moved by Japans’ nature and culture. Every day was like an adventure. So I made the decision to try to live and work in Japan.
As someone who is always freezing, I know there will be a lot of challenges ahead here in Niseko, but I am also sure I will enjoy life here in this town full of nature called Niseko.

After my high school graduation, I moved to Bochum, a big city which is located in the west of Germany. The area around Bochum is called the “Ruhr-Rhein-Area”. With big cities like Dortmund, Duesseldorf and Cologne, it is the second biggest metropolitan area in Europe. What do you think western Germany is famous for?
