Purpose and purpose

This subsidy program was established with the aim of preserving the local landscape and environment, enhancing its appeal as a resort area, and promoting sustainable tourism that harmonizes with the lives of the townspeople, using the town's accommodation tax as its source of funding.

- Costs for introducing and renovating accommodation systems, etc., in response to the revision of the town's accommodation tax system.
- A new event project aimed at attracting visitors in spring, summer, and autumn, which can be enjoyed by town residents as well.
- Raising awareness about the "Niseko Rules" and environmental conservation.
It can be used in a wide range of applications, including staff training programs such as customer harassment prevention training.

*The application period for the revised regulations is from the fiscal year in which Niseko Town Accommodation Tax Ordinance came into effect until the following fiscal year.

(3) Demand costs (consumables costs, printing and binding costs, material costs)
(4) Service expenses (advertising fees, postage, handling fees, insurance premiums)
(5) Commission fee
(6) Usage fees and rental fees
(7) Raw material cost
(8) Equipment purchase costs
(9) Other expenses deemed necessary by the mayor

• Consumption tax and local consumption tax
• Bank transfer fee
- Any other matters that the mayor deems inappropriate
 

Application period

From July 1, 2026 to February 28, 2027

※宿泊税改正分など、申請期間前に着手した事業も補助対象となる場合がありますので、商工観光課(0136-56-8843)までご相談ください(ただし、令和8年(2026年)4月1日以降の着手に限ります)。
*Applications will close even within the application period if the budget limit is reached.

Confirmation items for the application

This subsidy program aims to protect the town's environment and promote sustainable tourism in harmony with its residents. Therefore, you must agree to the following points when applying.

1. Confirmation Items (All must apply) *Excerpt
- You agree to access, investigate, and make inquiries to relevant organizations regarding information held by the town (tax information, etc.).
- Clearly state that Niseko Town accommodation tax is being used in implementing the project.
- Cooperation with the town's tourism policies (e.g., viewing of declarations of special collection obligations for accommodation tax, cooperation with tourism surveys, etc.)

2. Matters relating to harmony with the local community (one or more of the following must apply)
- Participating in or cooperating with the local community in the area where the facility is located (e.g., XX Neighborhood Association)
- Participating in or cooperating with volunteer activities in the area where the facility is located (e.g., clean-up campaigns)
- We ensure that our employees adhere to tourist etiquette and local rules such as the "Niseko Rules," and we also inform and educate our customers about these rules.
